Typically, the flange type IBF ball valve is mounted to a surface with an SAE J518 flange port, and retained using a flange fitting, such as an Adaconn® Flange Adapter that terminates in a male threaded connection, or an Inserta® IFRA Retaining Adapter, that terminates in a flange port.

Sandwiching the IBF ball valve between two Adaconn® Flange Adapters provides additional versatility. For example, a ball valve may be added to an ORB flange port, terminating in a JIC 37° flare, ORB, NPT, and/or ORFS male threaded end.

Use the links provided above to obtain a list of the components required to make a specific assembly, including the fasteners. Adaconn® Flange Adapters are chromium-3 zinc plated steel as standard. Electroless Nickel plated Ball Valves and Port Spacers are available to make an assembly that requires no further secondary finishing.
